Vanilla Almond Granola

Easy & Inexpensive!

Homemade granola is easy to make, delicious, and far cheaper than any granola you’ll find at the store!

Made with almonds, honey, and vanilla extract, this granola is bound to be a breakfast favorite.

Gather vanilla and almond extracts, honey,

brown sugar, salted butter, oats, and almonds.

Add salted butter, brown sugar, and honey to a medium pot.

Place over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the butter melts.

Meanwhile, roughly chop whole natural almonds.

If you don't want to wash a cutting board, substitute pre-sliced almonds!

Remove the butter mixture from heat, then stir in vanilla and almond extracts.

Add the chopped almonds and oats, then stir together.

Transfer the granola to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Spread the granola as thinly and evenly across the pan as you can.

Bake at 300°F/150°C for 20-25 minutes, until lightly golden brown.

Allow to cool for 30 minutes, then break into pieces.
