Crunchy, delicious, and inexpensive to make at home, honey pecan granola is bound to be a new household favorite!

This recipe makes about four cups of granola and lasts up to four weeks.

Gather salt, vanilla, brown sugar, honey,

pecans, salted butter, and rolled oats.

Melt the honey, brown sugar, butter, and salt in a large pot over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

Once melted, stir in the vanilla extract and remove from heat.

Add the oats and pecans, then stir until fully combined.

Once combined, the oats should be evenly glossy, like this:

Pour the granola onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Spread the granola as thinly as possible across the pan to ensure an even bake.

Bake at 300°F/150°C for 20-30 minutes, until lightly golden brown.

Let the granola to cool for about 30 minutes to crisp up, then break into your desired size!

Once completely cooled, store in an airtight container for up to four weeks.
