Cinnamon Banana Bread

with a crackly top!

This easy cinnamon banana bread recipe has a bit of cinnamon in the batter and is also topped with a crackly cinnamon sugar crust!

See why this banana bread has become my husband's and my new favorite.

Gather granulated sugar, eggs, brown sugar,

vanilla extract, cinnamon, overripe bananas, baking soda,

salt, melted butter, and all-purpose flour.

Mash the bananas in large mixing bowl with a whisk or fork until liquidy.

Add eggs, then whisk together until no streaks of egg remain.

Then, stir in the melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.

Set the batter aside, and stir the cinnamon, baking soda, and salt into a bowl with flour.

Add the flour mixture over the banana mixture, and stir until just combined.

Pour the batter into a prepared metal loaf pan, then draw a line through the batter with a clean butter knife.

This will help it split evenly in the oven.

Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon sugar until the batter doesn't absorb any more, then bake!

If you can't see the line you drew, draw another.

Bake for 45-55 minutes at 350°F/175°C, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

If you don't draw the line:
